This page explains what personal information Fruity Vape collects when you use fruityvape.ca, why we collect it, and what choices you have. Our store runs on Shopify, and the version of this policy linked from checkout is the operative one for the purposes of your order — you can read it at our checkout privacy policy.

Information we collect

Contact and delivery details — name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address.
Order information — what you viewed, added to cart, bought, returned or cancelled, and your order history.
Payment information — handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation and the last digits of the card; we do not store full card numbers.
Account information — if you create an account, your username and preferences.
Age confirmation — the fact that you confirmed you meet the legal age in your province. We do not upload or retain copies of identity documents.
Device and usage information — IP address, browser, device type and how you move through the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Messages — what you send us by email, phone or chat.

Why we use it

To process, ship and support your orders, and to handle returns and warranty claims
To meet age-restriction and record-keeping obligations that apply to vaping products in Canada
To respond when you contact us
To detect and prevent fraud and secure the site
To improve how the store works
To send marketing email, where you have opted in — you can unsubscribe from any marketing message

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run the store: with Shopify, which hosts the site; with payment processors; with Canada Post and other carriers, to deliver your order and carry out age verification at the door; and with service providers for things like email, analytics and customer support. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

Where it's held

Our service providers may store or process personal information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

How long we keep it

We keep order and transaction records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet tax, accounting and regulatory obligations. Account information is kept while your account is open.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to keep your cart, remember your age confirmation, and measure how the store is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the store may stop working correctly if you do.

Minors

This site is not intended for anyone under the legal vaping age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email fruityvapeinternational@gmail.com with your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
